Program Overview

The Aqeedah Program is part of our comprehensive Full-Time and Part-Time Islamic Studies Program, designed for students seeking a structured, transformative foundation in Islamic belief (‘Aqeedah).

The curriculum focuses on the foundational text Ma’arij Al-Qubool bi-Sharh Sulam Al-Wusool by Sheikh Hafidh Al-Hakami (رحمه الله), a landmark work in traditional Islamic theology.

Understanding the pillars of Eemaan and Islam
Deepening belief in Allah, His Names and Attributes
Clarity on key matters like Tawheed, Shirk, the Unseen, and Qadr.

This course will follow Ma’arij Al-Qubool as a step-by-step guide into the world of Aqeedah. The following are key areas covered:

Tawheed — Exploring the three categories: Tawheed ar-Ruboobiyyah, al-Uloohiyyah, and al-Asmaa wa-Sifaat.
Shirk and Its Types — Identifying major and minor shirk, how to protect oneself, and signs of deviation.
Belief in the Unseen — Including belief in the Angels, the Books, the Prophets, the Day of Judgment, and Divine Decree.
Refutations of Misguided Sects — An introduction to sects like the Khawarij, Mu’tazilah, and Jahmiyyah, and how Ahl al-Sunnah remains grounded.
Real-World Relevance — How Aqeedah affects everyday character, actions, and connection with Allah.
