The Fiqh Course is part of our Full-Time and Part-Time Islamic Studies curriculum, crafted for students seeking mastery in classical Islamic jurisprudence.

This year’s focus is on Al-Rawd al-Murbi’, a detailed and highly respected commentary on the foundational Hanbali fiqh text Zad al-Mustaqni’ by Imam Al-Hajjawi (رحمه الله). This course provides a structured, practical understanding of everyday rulings rooted in traditional scholarship.

What We’ll Cover

The course will follow Al-Rawd al-Murbi’, offering a clear and structured study of key areas of Fiqh, including:

Purification (Taharah) — Water types, impurities, wudhu, ghusl, and menstruation.
Prayer (Salah) — Conditions, pillars, nullifiers, congregational prayer, Friday prayer, travel prayer.
Zakah, Fasting, and Hajj — Eligibility, detailed rules, practical application.
Business Transactions — Sales, riba, leases, and contracts (intro to Mu’amalat).
Marriage and Family Law — Nikah, talaq, mahr, and responsibilities.
